Childproof options for sliding glass doors?
My son is 16 months old. His primary play area is in my family room, which has 2 sliding glass doors that open to our deck & pond. Up until now, I’ve been fine letting him play in the room, even if I’m in the next room. But now that it’s spring, I’d like to be able to open the doors to let in fresh air. Are there any options for childproofing open sliding glass doors? I’d also like some backup locks for the doors, because he’s getting closer to being able to flip the locks open on his own. Anyone have any locks that worked very well? Because now I’m stuck watching him like a hawk at an age that he can now play on his own pretty happily. Any ideas?
